A generalist across 2D and 3D, working alongside studios and direct to brand, with a strategic instinct that finds the more interesting problem underneath the stated one.

Originally from the UK, I've lived and worked in London, Auckland, Melbourne, Boston and Portland. Fifteen years in the US and counting. That kind of range tends to make you adaptable, good at reading a room, and pretty comfortable dropping into most creative environments.

I work across After Effects and C4D, spanning motion graphics, brand film, and product work. What I bring beyond the craft is a strategic instinct. I read briefs quickly with an eye towards the bigger picture. When Vionic asked for a product demo, what I saw was a brand recognition gap. The feature spot became a brand film.

On a project I'm self-directed, look ahead, and flag problems before they arrive. Comfortable bridging creative and technical.

Every component

Every detail earned.
THE BRIEF
Melin make premium headwear, hats that sell at roughly twice the price of anything else in the category. They came wanting a product-focused spot in 3D motion to run as paid media. They knew motion could do something for the brand but didn't yet know what.
THE REFRAME
The discovery conversation surfaced something their initial ask missed. Melin had a product people wanted but not a brand they recognised apart from it. The film shouldn't sell the hat. It had to show what kind of company makes one like this.
THE APPROACH
We made a film built on the attitude behind the product. Detail. Obsession. Craft. Each component examined with care. Movement that mirrors the precision of the making, a custom score built to the edit, premium carried in every decision and named in none. The craft itself became the brand the product had been standing in for.
THE RESULT
Melin’s strongest creative to date, and the film their founder wanted on a billboard in Times Square.

Warm. Graceful.
Unhurried.
Comfort, without
ever naming it.
THE BRIEF
Vionic make comfort footwear with genuine technical credentials. They came wanting an animation for one of their best-selling shoes: show the tech, run it as paid media.
THE REFRAME
A brand asset audit surfaced something the brief hadn't named. Consumers couldn't connect the product to a brand they trusted. The film needed to establish Vionic as a brand worth knowing.
THE APPROACH
The shoe bathed in golden hour light, moving with the kind of ease and elegance that says comfort without ever naming it. A dual-purpose piece, paid media and influencer intercut, designed from the brief up.
THE RESULT
The animation became Vionic's top-performing ad and it's still in rotation. Run alongside live-action lifestyle footage, it made their technology tangible and helped move the brand from orthopedic player to technology player. Engagement ran 50% higher than their other ads.

Atmospheric renders built to support the pre-sale narrative for Fellow's first espresso machine. The brief was warmth and aspiration, conveying the feeling of owning the product before anyone could hold it. Revealed to industry stakeholders at the SCA Coffee Expo and running across Fellow's website and paid campaigns since launch.

Two OOH spots for the Las Vegas Grand Prix connecting the Mercedes F1 car with the Meta AI brand through the  ring logo. 3D artist and compositor on both spots, responsible for camera, lighting, render, and integrating a Houdini smoke simulation via VDB. Fast turnaround, daily deliverables.

ArccosAI Caddie

An announcement film for Arccos's AI Caddie, a GPS and sensor-based system that analyses your game and provides personalised recommendations on the course. Working directly with the in-house art director from mock up style frames, the piece was animated in After Effects and extended into 3D: Cards, data visualisation elements, and a diamond asset brought together into one continuous flowing piece.

Two product films for Ranger's technical clay shooting eyewear, showcasing the lens swap systems and full range of available lens options.. A dark environment to match the brand's sleek tactical aesthetic. Each lens treated as a reflective object, using environmental reflection to distinguish materials and make every variant read clearly. Both spots currently live on the Ranger website.

An animated film celebrating the launch of Google's Latino-Owned attribute on Maps, Search and Shopping, helping customers find and support Latino businesses across the US. Drawing on Bordados embroidery as reference, the film introduces organic growth, layered depth and natural texture, qualities intentionally brought in to honour the culture. Shown at the Hispanic Heritage Awards and shared across Google's design social channels.
